Product CareEach of our products are benchmade of solid, pure materials and hand finished with natural waxes to reveal the genuine condition of the wood. Slight variation in color or size should be appreciated as characteristic of hand crafted, solid wood furniture.
Wax FinishNatural wax is thoroughly buffed into the grain of most of our woods to enhance its inherently brilliant patterns and texture. To dust or clean, use a dry cloth, as oils and chemicals will eventually lift and soften the natural wax finish and cause streaking. For tougher spills, use a damp cloth and dry the surface immediately. Chemical cleansers, including most household furniture polish, will break down the wax. As with any hardwood piece, using chemical, commercial cleansers should be avoided in order to maintain its beauty and uniform finish. We do not recommend using chemical, abrasive cleaning agents on any of our naturally finished products.
